Neil Simon, America’s premier funny man, and Marvin Hamlisch, the Tony Award-winning composer of A Chorus Line, collaborated on this hit musical; a funny, romantic show about an established composer and his relationship with an aspiring young female lyricist, not unlike Carole Bayer Sager. Professionally, their relationship works beautifully, but personally, romance blossoms, conflict rears its head, and comic sparks fly.

It was hard to believe that They’re Playing Our Song was 40 years old. To have the pleasure of reuniting Lucy Arnez as "Sonia Walsk" and Robert Kleinas Vernon Gersch" seemed too good to be true. Aside from reuniting these two legends, the one night only concert was directed by veteran award-winning director/choreographer Chet Walker and featured a full orchestra under the musical direction of Larry Blank.
