Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right

A Note From Tony:

Newsies holds a very special place in my heart. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching the super-athletic choreography to a cast of wonderfully talented actors, but it wasn’t until opening night that I witnessed the true impact of this story of social justice come to life. The sound of the audience cheering these boys on felt like a rock concert. The brilliant collaboration on this project with Bobb Cooper and Mark Feary was one of my favorites to date.
